Tree Marie Soapworks

Soap making is both an art and a science. Luckily for us, Teri from Tree Marie Soapworks is both an artisan and soap-making scientist!

Tree Marie Soapworks comes from the name Theresa Marie or Teri- for short. She is a graphic designer by trade with a passion for sustainable and organic living. Coincidentally, she is also the woman responsible for making some of the most fascinating soap creations we’ve seen.

Soap making is both an art and a science. It’s like cooking in a sense where you need to have the skills to connect with the ingredients, and it’s like chemistry in a sense that you need the precise amount of the right reagents to get the desired outcome. Luckily for us, Teri has both.

Mixing the technical skills required of such an intricate process and a penchant for sharing her knowledge, Teri is a great teacher in the art of soap making! We at AnySprout guarantee this, no lye!

Teri’s three concepts for soap making.
  • Making Soap that is Nourishing to the Skin
  • Making Beautiful Soap
  • Making a Useful, Functional Product

“I actually really enjoyed this. Seen many of these videos but I bet this was super helpful to newbies, and helps inspire ideas in brainstorming ideas at the moment for some of my scents, so thank you for the beautiful creative video. By the way, I love how you clean up so well as you go... makes me happy! Hahahaha it really does!”
