Making a Wooden Knuckle Chisel

If you ever wanted to feel like a badass while holding a wooden chisel, then join the Bourbon Moth Workshop in making this tough-looking yet fine piece of craftsmanship. The chisel is 100% usable and the aesthetics do not sacrifice much in terms of functionality.

The video shows how Jason upgraded some chisel handles into walnut knuckle in brass knuckle-style handles. These were made as part of a larger set in collaboration with other makers to raise funds for “Color of Change” charity raffle.

The final design and finish of the knuckles.

  • Preparing and Measuring Wood
