Japanese Horror was once the face of Asian Horror, with movies like Ring and Ju-On: The Grudge being the flagship of the genre. Movies that haunted us when we were younger are now reduced to spin-offs and remakes. While still very scary in their own right, it lacked the charm and message that the originals carried.
