With the movement towards a healthier style of living, Products like açai packets, soy milk, almond milk, and the like, are more readily available than ever. That said, relative to other mainstay grocery products, things like açai packets are still not ubiquitous enough. Nicole, amazing as she is, decides to help us out by providing alternatives for açai!

Since açai packs may be too expensive or not readily available, Nicole decides to highlight the use of blueberries. With the fruits and vegetables properly frozen, Nicole gets to work. Starting with the almond milk, and then the fruits and vegetables, one by one, blending it until it resembled a consistency of very thick ice cream. Thoroughly blended, you might not even be able to tell that it was made without acai. It might even taste better, truth be told.

She finishes this “açai bowl” by making it look like a crown. We may not be a beauty queen like Nicole, but she sure makes us feel like one!

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1/3 cup frozen riced cauliflower
  • 1/4 cup frozen butternut squash
  • splash of alone milk or milk of choice
  • scoop of vanilla protein powder (optional)
