Banana pudding is a familiar sight in most Southern dining tables. While often served hot with a meringue on top, chef Jeffrey's method is without a doubt the most popular among home cooks. No pie crust to worry about, and no oven timer to be vigilant of. Even though it's not the most traditional way of making the dessert, it's certainly Southern tradition to have your own unique recipe.

  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 tbls all purpose flour
  • 4 ea egg yolks
  • 3 cups whole milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 bx vanilla wafers
  • 6 ea sliced banana
