Steamed Rice Noodle Rolls 3 Ways

7
mins

Popular in most parts of Asia, and can be served with a wide variety of fillings, rice noodle rolls are one of the most versatile meals that you can serve. While it may be one of the most simple dim sum dishes to make, you can rest assured that it will never fail to garner praise from whomever you serve it to.
Marie serves as our guide towards said praise. In this video, she shows us three ways to serve this dish. Namely, a basic roll, a shrimp roll,  and a mixed fillings roll. As shown by Marie, there is a very real possibility that we may overcook the rice noodle, especially in our first few tries. As with most things, practice makes perfect. So, don’t just roll over and give up!

Ingredient list

1 cup rice flour

1/2 cup tapioca

1/2 tsp salt

3 cups water (or soup stock)

Marie’s recommended sauces.
Sweet bean sauce - mixture of brown bean and Hoisin sauce

Diluted soy sauce mixed with sesame oil

Hot chili sauce

Where do I get these?
