Ribeye Steak With Red Wine Sauce

mins

Nothing says “classical” more than a medium-rare rib-eye with a red wine pan sauce. It is simple, easy, and absolutely delicious.

What usually differs from home-cooked meals, and a restaurant-quality dish is a generous amount of seasoning that is added, the quality of the ingredients, and the copious amounts of butter. Suffice to say, Eric has them all in this video, and they are imperative to this dish.

With just basic kitchen equipment, proper technique, and of course, this video, you too can have this classic French dish from the comfort of your own home.

Ingredient list
  • 1 thick cut ribeye steak (approximately 1 lb)
  • 1 tablespoon neutral cooking oil
  • 1/2 cup homemade beef stock
  • 1/2 cup good quality red wine
  • 1 large sprig of fresh thyme
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 small shallots
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Where do I get these?

Most of these ingredients can be found in almost all groceries.

What others are saying.
“Beautiful dish Eric, I can’t wait to give this a go. When it comes to steaks, especially oven cooked I’m a little shaky lol, but this looks absolutely amazing. Thank You.”
